Boost Your Abundance!

In this edition of my Empowerment Wellness and Connection newsletter (#6) I will be featuring:-

● How to support your Abundance Consciousness

● Are you getting enough Manganese?

● So you have tried Meditation?

● What’s Lighting Me Up!

EMPOWERMENT

You may be finding it difficult to maintain your abundance consciousness in the current economic climate. Here is how I boost my Abundance Consciousness:

I reduce my exposure to the strong messages of lack coming from the media and manage my self-talk kindly, with affirmations such as:

“I bless the money I spend and it returns to me a thousand fold”

“Money comes to me from infinite sources”

“All my needs and desires are provided for abundantly”

If you find these are triggering you, then go general with:

“Everything is always working out for me” or

“Positive affirmations are becoming a positive habit for me. The more I do them, the better I feel and the better my life gets”

My "Go To" books are:

Ask and It Is Given – Learning to Manifest the Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks – This is a classic that I revisit again and again.

The Barefoot Investor by Scott Pape – Practical advice for us at every stage of life.

Abundance – The Inner Path to Wealth by Deepak Chopra - This is a unique approach to increasing your abundance that resonates with me strongly.

I support and promote my feelings of abundance with these flower essences:

Bauhinia – clears resistance to change, to new ideas

Bluebell – clearing subconscious thinking that there is not enough for all

Boab – to release limited beliefs inherited from family

Dog Rose & Bluebell – to relieve the fear of lack

Five Corners - promotes the belief that you’re good enough to deserve abundance

Philotheca – opens you to receiving

Sunshine Wattle – strengthens faith in Universal providence; that things can get better

Turkey Bush – for creativity; supports the Sacral Chakra

I always have a Citrine crystal in the “money corner” of my home. This is the farthest back left corner from your front door. This improves the abundance energy in your home.

I balance and support my Sacral Chakra (lower abdomen/hips). When you are feeling lack, this chakra is often out of balance. You can support it by wearing orange or visualising an orange band around this area.

I also catch up with jobs I have been meaning to do, tidy up and create space. This gets energy moving (money is energy).

WELLNESS

Manganese is a little-known mineral that enhances your energy and keeps your skin and hair strong. Manganese is involved in bone health, carbohydrate metabolism and glucose tolerance. In post-menopausal women lower levels of manganese are linked to osteoporosis. Manganese is also very important if you are wanting to conceive.

Manganese also plays a crucial role in the production of collagen in your body. Collagen is a hugely important protein that improves elasticity of your skin (keeping wrinkles away), and strengthens ligaments, connective tissue, hair and nails. It becomes more important with age as once you hit 25, your body produces less and less collagen.

Some of the best dietary sources of manganese are :-

Hazelnuts, Pecans, Walnuts, Beans, Chickpeas, Oysters & Mussels, Cooked Spinach, Pineapple, Whole Wheat Bread, Oatmeal, Black Tea and Lentils.

The daily recommended dosage is 10 mg.

Oral contraceptives, antacids, sweating, excess iron or copper can deplete your manganese levels. Deficiency symptoms can also include dizziness, fatigue, poor memory, sore knees and poor sense of balance.

CONNECTION

So you tried meditation and couldn’t silence your thoughts. Broaden your definition of meditation.

Meditation really is the way to greater connection, whether that is to your inner self, universal energy or God, your soul purpose or to the ease of the stressless life. I love Thich Nhat Hanh’s comment that “Meditation is not an evasion; it is a serene encounter with reality”.

While ideally meditation is a quietening of the mind, it is also an opportunity to receive information, so you don’t want to stop your thoughts altogether. Deepak Chopra says “Even in the noisiest meditation there are still one or two dips into the Gap”. This is where the information and inspiration you have been looking for, can come to you easily.

If you haven’t found the style of meditation that is right for you, see if any of these practices appeal to you :-

Walking or sitting in nature

Taking a quiet 5 or 10 minutes sitting on the back deck with a cup of tea.

Doing some Qi Gong or Tai Chi

Daydreaming

Listening to relaxing music

Enjoying some peaceful solitude

I enjoy guided meditations. The "Isha Kriya" has been my daily morning meditation since being introduced to it in 2015. I have experienced it’s promised health benefits. If you would like to try it, here is the link to the 14 minute version:

My mind is often very noisy in meditation however I still receive beautiful guidance, inspiration and healing. I often receive inspiration when I go for a walk as well.

If guided meditations aren’t for you, I have a meditation script that ticks all the boxes. Within a few days you will be able to do this meditation anywhere, anytime, without the need for the script. If you would like a copy just email “Meditation Script” to janelle@janellerussell.net.au and I will send it to you.

WHAT'S LIGHTING ME UP?

I happened across The Seven Spiritual Laws for Parents (and for Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles) by Deepak Chopra, recently. I own The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success and revisit it regularly.

In this book the Seven Spiritual Laws are phrased so that even a young child is able to carry them around in their mind and heart:

First Law :

Everything is possible

Second Law :

If you want to get something, give it.

Third Law :

When you make a choice, you change the future.

Fourth Law :

Don’t say no – go with the flow.

Fifth Law :

Every time you wish or want, you plant a seed.

Sixth Law :

Enjoy the Journey

Seventh Law :

You are here for a reason.

What powerful awareness to share with your children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews, and to benefit from yourself. Deepak gives examples of how to share this wisdom with your child each day.
